take it easy, baby, make it last all night.

I abandoned this website for a few months, which I feel really bad about, but I'm going to start re-vamping this blog to have a lot more cool features including some of my personal outfits, a style icon of the month, fashion how-to's, as well as some other stuff. I hope to start the new features next week if I can.
Any suggestions are welcome!

Ann-Margaret had a the look of a classic beauty with the edge of a child of the sexual revolution, with bold colors and almost burlesque costumes, Ann proved herself to be a fashionable and strong woman whose style influence is seen even today.

may the good lord shine a light on you.

Brian Jones was a founding member of The Rolling Stones and was one of the most influential style icons of the 1960s. Brian was one of the first figures in popular culture to make is acceptable for men to wear jewelry and flamboyant costumes, a suit later followed by contemporaries such as Jimi Hendrix and Rod Stewart. A multi-talented musician, Brian would easily become bored with an instrument and quickly move onto the next, and his chaotic and beautiful spirit was evident in the kind of clothes he wore and the way he presented himself. Brian was a very self-destructive individual and on July 3rd 1969 he drowned in his pool becoming the first member of the 27 Club. His presence and style still leave a big impact on both today's music and fashion.

you can't always get what you want.

Marianne Faithfull was an icon of the 1960s, she was a successful singer, actress and model and also love and muse of Mick Jagger. Her name has often been synonymous sex and drugs, an addiction which overshadowed much of her exceptional career. Marianne has a style all her own which can range from the wholesome to the eccentric and hitting every other style in between. She is the inspiration of several songs, most notably The Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and The Hollies' "Carrie Anne."
